Detailed data about your energy use is available to you at any time.
Peninsula Clean Energy’s Data Connect service provides free, secure, authorized access to detailed energy use data at all scales, from a single residence to large buildings and broad service areas. Data Connect uses the UtilityAPI platform to access energy data.
Once registered with us, you can access the only UL-tested, Greenbutton Alliance-certified platform in the U.S.
Commercial, Municipalities, & County Agencies
Get data-driven insights to help you manage your business & buildings
Detailed insights into your energy use (e.g., KWh, day parts, and consumption areas within your facilities) will help you to manage your business and facilities against your energy-related goals. Simply register as a commercial user. Once you’re approved, you’ll gain secure access to your detailed data.
Data Connect gives you the insights and data you need to:
- Determine what specific energy cost-containment actions you can take to make a positive impact on your bottom line and your people
- Measure and track progress against your energy, cost, and sustainability goals
- Calculate your energy carbon footprint

Third Parties & Contractors
Get data-driven insights to serve your customers better
Detailed insights into your clients’ energy use (e.g., KWh, day parts, and consumption areas within a facility) will help you to advise your clients and show them measurable outcomes. You can request permission to access a specific building, business, residence, and/or service area energy data from PCE. Simply register as a third party. Once you’re approved, you’ll gain secure access to the approved data.
Data Connect lets you:
- Analyze your client’s energy use at their business or property
- Use insights to optimize operations and lower operating costs
- Provide measurable outcomes so clients can see the tangible results you deliver

Residential Customers
You have the option to share your data with third parties
Your energy-related data is YOUR DATA. We will not share it with anyone without your permission. Here are some of the reasons you may want to give us permission to share your data with an authorized third party:
- Gain access to personalized analysis, recommendations, and potential cost savings from your chosen professionals
- Participate in energy programs (e.g., cost savings, cheaper rates, rebates)
- Compare your energy data to similar households in your area
- Assess home value: Potential buyers or sellers might use energy-related data to understand a property's energy efficiency
If you wish to give a third party access to your energy-specific data, fill out this authorization form.
We won’t share your data with anyone without your permission and our approval. Here is a directory of currency-approved third parties which we can give access to your data.
